Divisional Chief Executive, ITC Agri Business

S Ganesh Kumar is the Divisional Chief Executive of ITC's Agri Business since August 2024. Prior to this he was the Chief Operating Officer of the Business. Before taking over as the COO of Agri Business in August 2023, he was the Chief Executive of the Staples, Snacks, Meals businesses at ITC Foods from 2018.

A mechanical engineer, he joined ITC in 1991. In his tenure over three decades, he has grown into leadership roles across multiple functions and businesses - manufacturing operations, projects, automation, and human resources. From 2000 to 2002, Ganesh played a key member of the team that evolved ITC's diversification strategy and execution into the Foods Business. He has played a lead role in the development of wheat, spices and potato value chains. He has led the Staples, Snacks and Noodles business verticals and in the establishment of the brands Aashirvaad, Bingo!, YiPPee! and Kitchens of India.

Ganesh is a member of the CII National committee on Agriculture and a former member of the Committee on International Trade Policy and Exports and the CII National Committee for Food Processing.
