ITC launches maiden overseas hotel venture in Colombo

According to an article in the Hindu BusinessLine, ITC is open to exploring opportunities across international markets to launch more hotels, mostly under management contracts.
Speaking to the media after the launch of ITC Ratnadipa, Colombo, the Company's first overseas venture for the hotels business, Chairman Mr Sanjiv Puri said, "We will be open to exploring opportunities across that come about. Because I think we have strong credentials in hospitality and that we can take outside India now."
